Carl Bryant Arrington, 87, of Houston passed away on Tuesday, November 05, 2013, at his residence with his family by his side.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 8, 2013, in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Military and Masonic honors will be given at the graveside.

A gathering of Carl's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the funeral home.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Ada Littles Arrington; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

He retired as a Communication Tech for A T & T and Cameron Iron Works.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Carl was a deacon for Bethany Baptist Church in Houston.

He also received his 60 years Masonic pin in 2006.

Carl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anne Arrington; sons, Carl Stephen Arrington and wife Cindy, Bradley Arrington, David Arrington and wife, Gina; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Corey, Connor Bryant, Emma Lynn, and Jack Bryant; sister, Joyce LaVelle, and husband, Carl; and a host of other family and friends.
