Deceased Name: RUBY M. UNRUH
COPELAND -- Ruby Minnie Unruh, 74, Tonasket, Wash., formerly of Copeland, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket.
She was born April 27, 1927, to Sam L. and Katherine B. (Mininger) Fricke in Lansing, Mich.
She married Cecil Unruh Jan. 28, 1945, in Cimarron. He survives.
She moved to the Copeland area as a young girl.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Copeland.
Other survivors include four sons, Galen Unruh and wife, Sharon, Galva, Stanley Unruh and wife, Jerra, Sedan, N.M., Steve Unruh and wife, Karen, and Richard Unruh and wife, Lana, all of Copeland; one daughter, Jolene Koehn and husband, Dennis, Texline, Texas; two brothers, Sam L. Fricke Jr. and wife, Sandy, Ontario, Canada, and Obed Maynard Fricke, Montezuma; six sisters, Annabel Smith, Salem, Ore., Gertrude J. Unruh and husband, Leslie, Copeland, Mary Friesen and husband, George, Cumberland, Wis., Johanna Schmidt and husband, Earl, El Campo, Texas, Helen Koehn and husband, Ervie, Ingalls, and Clara Koehn and husband, Barton, Montezuma; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ruth Friesen.
* Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Salem Mennonite Church in Copeland with the Ministers Wayne Amoth, Sam Unruh and Verle Yost presiding.
Burial will be at the Salem Mennonite Cemetery in Copeland.
Friends may call from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday at Montezuma Funeral Home in Montezuma.
