Florence J. Smith (nee Leonard) was born Sept 14, 1891 in Plain City, Madison Co, OH, the daughter of John and May Millikin Leonard. She died March 26, 1969. She married Aug 2, 1914 in Union Co, OH, William Orson Smith. He was a teacher, the middle of five children of Orson Elwood Smith & Martha Ann "Mattie" Baldwon. Their grandchildren: Mrs. Jane Stevens & William and Laurel Below.

THEIR DAUGHTER Mrs Virginia Arlene (Robert F.) Below born April 12, 1917 in Ohio., of Brecksville, OH. Her husband, Robert F. BELOW, a draftsman, was born Nov 17, 1913 in Lakewoood, OH the son of Charles F. Below & Olive M. Anderson. He died April 16, 2002 of Santa Barbara, Calif., at age 88.

Florence's funeral was at the Church of the Saylour, Lee at Bradford Rds., Friday, March 28, 1969, arrangements by Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin Blvd. Interment in Knollwood Cemetery.
