Mrs. Sam Van Huss, 74, died Thursday at her home in Hydro, Okla. following an illness of several months duration. A member of the Hovendick family, well-known throughout Washington county, Mrs. Van Huss' death was the second in a family of nine.
Survivors include: the husband and two children, Paul and Alice, all of Hydro, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Grabbe, Mrs. Emma Skinner of Herman, and Mrs. Carrie Rosenbalm of Blair; and four brothers, Louis and Henry of Herman, Frank of Blair, and Ed of Omaha. A large number of nephews, nieces and other relatives also survive.
