Find a Grave member, 47225156, found a death notice from The Otsego Farmer & Republican, Cooperstown, NY, March 5, 1920, page 4 which contained the following information.

Mr. Hun, from one of Albany's oldest Dutch families and also a summer resident of Willowbrook, Cooperstown, died at his home in Albany after being ill for about two months. He was educated at private schools in Massachusetts and the Albany Boy's Academy. Graduated from Union College in 1865 and later, Albany Law School. He was president of the Committee of Thirteen and took a leading part in the civic affairs of Albany for the last 30 years. He was a lawyer, and president of the Albany Savings bank at the time of his death.

Married in 1875, Miss Mary K. Vanderpoel, daughter of Isaac Vanderpoel, at one time adjutant general of NYS. Brother of Dr. Henry Hun and Mrs. Edward Reynolds Hun, both of Albany.
