March 4, 1902--Mr. Patrick Delaney died Friday evening. Mr. Delaney was in his 87th year ,being a resident of this country after landing in New Jersey in 1849, where he resided until 1855, when moved to Cokeyard in Vale Summit and lived until his death. He is survived by a large family, all being married except Patrick Delaney; Mrs. Michael Higgins and Mrs. Thomas Stapleton of Vale Summitt; Mrs. John Carter of Hoffman Mines; and William, Thomas and Patrick of Cokeyard; and also 42 grandchildren. Burial in St. Michaels Cemetery, Frostburg.
