Graveside services were held for Art Stimpson, long-time Blair resident, at the Blair cemetery Wednesday morning of this week. Mr. Stimpson had died last Friday, December 28th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bette Hambel of Woodbury, New Jersey.
Mr. Stimpson was born August 6th, 1882 at DeSoto and was 80 years of age at the time of his death. He grew to manhood and spent his entire life in this area and had lived on east State in Blair for a number of years.
Mrs. Stimpson died on September 13, 1962 and following her death, Mr. Stimpson went to the home of his daughter in New Jersey to spend some time. He became ill there and did not recover.
