ABRAHAMSON, George M.Age 99, of Rancho Cordova passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2005. He was born February 10, 1906 in Little Falls, MN and lived there until 1944 when he moved to Vallejo, CA. During the war George worked as a machinist at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and continued working there until retiring in 1968. George was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Hilma Abrahamson, in 1997. Survivors include: 2 sons, Jack Abrahamson of Stockton and Gene & his wife Darlene Abrahamson of Stockton; 1 daughter, Lorraine Hodorff of Sacramento; 6 grandchildren, Richard and Keith Abrahamson, Judy Netzel, Diane Brownell, Tami Renner, Shari Shikano; 14 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Evelyne Helmerick of Renton, WA and Ella Nelson of Little Falls, MN.
