She was born in December 1867 as Antje Koedijker "aan de groote Sloot (at the big Ditch) in de Polder E", just north of the city of Schagen, in the former municipality Zijpe, since 1 January 2013 part of municipality Schagen, in the northwestern part of the Dutch western province Noord-Holland, daughter of the 31 years aged Simon Koedijker and Jannetje Jongejan, who married on 1 May 1864 in Sint Maarten. Her father was then 28 years aged and laborer and her mother 22 years and servant maid.

Antje arrived with her parents Simon (37 y, farmer) and Jantje Koedijker and also with three brothers and one sister on 9 May 1873 on the ship Castor from Rotterdam at the port of New York. They left home in Sint Maarten on 19 April 1873.

Annie Koedyker married on 1 November 1886 in Lake County, Indiana at te age of 18 years to the nine years older Sarines P. Swets.

On 28 July 1893 Annie Koedyker Swets, 24 y, born in North Holland, Holland, and Serenius Swets, 34 y, born in South Holland, Illinois, had in Cook County, Illinois, son Walter.

According to N. Lohman in an e-mail of November 2013 Annie Koedyker was the first wife of Sarines Swets and died in or around 1897. Sarinis Swets remarried on 5 Oct 1898 in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 39 years to another Ann or Annie, the 35 years aged widow Anna Bultze [Postema Bultje].

In June 1900 Sereenes Swets (42, Dec 1858, farmer), his second wife Anna (38 y, born in Nov 1862, Illinois), his children Gill (11, Aug 1888, born in Indiana), Simon (10, Oct 1889, Indiana), Henreta (7, Oct 1892, Indiana), Walter (6, July 1893, Indiana), Anna's daughters Trintje (11, May 1889, Illinois) and Annie (9, July 1891, Illinois), and also their common daughter Tunna Swets (0, April 1900, Indiana) lived at a rented farm in North Township (excl. East Chicago, Hammond & Whiting town), Lake County, in the utter northwestern part of Indiana.

In 1910 Sarinas P Swets (51, Illinois), his second wife Anna P (46 y, Illinois), the children Simons (20, Indiana), Heneretta (18, Indiana), Walter (16, Indiana), John (14, Indiana), Denia (7, Indiana) and Benjamin (4, Indiana) lived in St John, Lake County, in the utter northwestern part of Indiana.

Sarines Swets' second wife Anna died on 3 March 1915 in Schererville, Lake County, Indiana at the age of 52 years. Her widower Sarines P. Swets (70 y) and son Benjamin (24 y) lived in 1930 still in Schererville. Sarines died in 1936 at the age of about 77 years, very probably in Schererville.
