HAYFIELD -- Burdie Dennison, 89, of Hayfield, died Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 21, 1993) at Fieldcrest Nursing Home here. She had been a resident there for seven years.
Burdie Amundson was born Oct. 26, 1904, in Dodge County and attended rural schools. On April 21, 1927, she married Ernest Dennison in Hayfield. A homemaker, Mrs. Dennis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizens. Mr. Dennison died in 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Mark of Austin and Donald of Byron; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby (Mrs. Leonard) Wendorf of Owatonna. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield, with the Rev. Reginald N. Torreson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Vernon Funeral Home here and one hour prior to services at the church Thursday.
