Services Today For W.D. Bell
William D. Bell, manager of the Guarantee Abstract Co., died about 4 a.m. Wednesday in a Dallas hospital. He resided at 3310 King, Greenville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.B. Fielder officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was born Oct. 5, 1885, in Henrietta, Tex., son of the late Jefferson D. Bell and Blanca Babb Bell. He married the former Emily Bunting May 30, 1907.
He was a member of Kavanaugh Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the Greenville Rotary Club.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Henry E. Bell and William H. Bell; four daughters, Mrs. Charlie Head, Mrs. Walter Parker, Mrs. Arthur Sullivan and Mrs. Jinny Waddle; three sisters, Mrs. Claudia Lewis and Miss Kathleen Bell of Denton, and Mrs. Dot Crooks of Ft. Worth; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold Curtis Jr., Wayland Walker, Horace (sic) Graham, Thomas Biggs, Pat Harrison and D.Y. Simpson.
Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
