Lewis B. Goen***, 77, Dies Near Medora
Funeral services for Lewis B. Goen, retired farmer of the Medora vicinity, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hague Funeral Home Medora, with the Rev. Norman Gardels, Sparksville, pastor of the Medora Lutheran Church, in charge. Burial is Brown Cemetery, near Medora.
Mr. Goen, who was 77 years old, died at his home on Bedford R3 early Thursday morning after a short illness.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Goen was born on January 11, 1870, the son of Henry and Lucie Goen. He was married on May 30, 1903, in Brownstown , to the former Rebecca Hamilton.
Among his survivors are two sons, Lewis B. Goen, Jr., Bedford, and Larman Goen, Medora, and two brothers, Henry and Cletus Goen, both of Medora.
