He began his career on screen at age twelve in the motion picture Bedlam. He has played both comedic and dramatic roles in movies, television and theater. On screen he is best remembered for films such as "Heaven Can Wait," "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman," "Bird," "S.O.B." "Dick Tracy," "Under Fire," and "The Fourth Tenor." His last appearance was in Hard Four, that will be released in 2005. On television, he appeared in "Star Trek Deep Space Nine," "Murphy Brown" and "Mash," among others. Several Broadway shows had his name in the credits. He was one of the early "Second City" players as well as a member of the original cast of "The Committee" and "Sills and Company." He won a Dramalogue award for best direction of an ensemble performance with the Spolin Games Players. One of his last performances was in "Antigone." As singer, his work with Bob Gibson produced the classic folk album "Gibson and Camp at the Gate of Horn", and is best remembered for his song "Pride of Man." Cause of death: Heart failure.
