Clarence Chiasson
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose for Clarence Joseph Chiasson, 72, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off, who died at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Burial was in the church Cemetery.
He was the father of Clarence Jr., Dean Joseph, Henry Joseph and Erlis Joseph Chiasson, Linda LeBlanc and Leona Hager; brother of Aubrey Chiasson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Edna Theriot Chiasson; and two brothers, Noris and Urald Chiasson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
