Richard Calvin Baird age 80 of Winchester, Ohio passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born Feb 4, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Virgil and Ruth (Hubbard) Baird. He was a retired railroad conductor. He was an Army veteran, a member of the Walter-Miller American Legion Post #394, the 82nd Airborne Association and a member of the F & AM Lodge #0637 in Columbus, OH.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers; Kenneth and Wendell Baird and 1 sister; Kathleen O'Brien.

He is survived by 3 sons and wives, and 4 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville with Drew Lane officiating. Military services by the Walter-Miller American Legion Post #394 will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 prior to the service. Following cremation, burial will be at the Decatur Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
