Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. Minnie Humphries [sic Humphreys], 76, in the Riser and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Kimble officiating. Burial followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson.
Mrs. Humphreys died Saturday at her residence after a breif [sic brief] illness.
Survivors include 1 son, Mr. Kenneth Humphreys of Columbia; 2 daughters, Mrs. Jerry Hall of Columbia, Mrs. Sandra Tryon of Delhi; 7 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were, Allen Thompson, Walter Powers, Wilbur Rucker, Calvin Smith, Jackie Lawrence, William "Hoot" Reitzell and Jerry Manley [sic Manly].
