David Milton Robeson
Died at 3:10 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of his grand daughter, Mrs. Arthur Hicks, of Pottsgrove avenue, East End.
He was born March 1, 1828, being aged 85 years, 2 months and 19 days. He was a farmer and followed this occupation until thirteen years ago, when he retired and thereafter made his home with his children. During the last four years he had resided with his son, Howard S. Robeson of Harrisburg. About one month ago he came to this city to attend a funeral and contracted a cold and Wednesday of last week he fell in his room and broke one of his arms. Pneumonia followed and resulted in his death.
He is survived by four children; John B. Robeson of WIlliamsburg; Howard S. Robeson of Harrisburg; Mrs. George Fonner of Greenwood, and Mrs. David Morningstar of Duquesne.He also leaves several grand children and great grand children.
His wife preceded him to the grave fourteen years ago.
The body will be taken to Williamsburg on the 10:30 train Wednesday morning and the funeral will take place on Thursday from the residence of his son John B. Robeson at 10 o;clock Thursday morning.
Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery.
