Meyersdale - Charles H. Steinly, 75, of Sand Patch RD, died Sunday at his home. A native of Greenville Township, he was born July 3, 1879. His parents were the late Lewis and Susannah (Housel) Steinly. Surviving are his widow, Annie (Sass) Steinly; three daughters, Misses Irene and Hester Steinly, at home; and Mrs. Bernard Brown, here; two sons, Bruce Steinly, Medford, Mass.; Oscar Steinly, Garrett; three brothers, Millard, RD 3, Meyersdale; Frank, Newton Falls, Ohio; Robert, of Akron; seven sisters, Mrs. Cora McKenzie, Frostburg; Mrs. Sarah Murphy and Mrs. Bertha Dietle, here; Mrs. Harold Folk and Mrs. Frank Wilhelm, Akron; Mrs. Mahlon Werner, Lewisville, Ohio; Mrs. John Smith, Jerome, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren. The body is at the Price Funeral Home here. Services will be at Mt. Carmel White Oak Lutheran near Wellersburg tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Rev. George Bowersox will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 22. 1955
