William Darwin Alton, 73 of Hindsville passed away October 13, 2013 in Fayetteville. He was born December 26, 1939 in Pine Valley, Oklahoma to the late Argie Leon Alton and Alice Faye Driver Alton.

He was an active member of Revival Tabernacle Church of Springdale. He loved roping and farming.

Darwin is survived by his wife Norma Anderson Alton to whom he was married for 55 years; one son, John Dwain Alton and wife Laura of Hindsville ;three granddaughters, Amanda Carol Boaz and husband Jason, Charity Nicole Ford and husband John and Sarah Megan Embry and husband Joe; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Rachelle Neeriemer, Emma Lyen Boaz and Tristen James Ford; one brother, John Leon Alton and wife Mary of Bella Vista; three sisters, Helen Alton Atkins and husband John of Rogers, Geneva Alton Murray of Montana and Janet Alton Owens and husband Junior of Rogers; his step-mother, Francis Alton of Rogers; one half brother, Eric Alton and two half sisters, Genevieve Roberts and Laverne Grinder.

Graveside service will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2pm at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale with Rev. Paul Eden officiating and Rev. John Atkins.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
