SPOKANE Memorial service for Anna Ahrens, 83, was Saturday at the Royal Plaza Retirement Home.
Mrs. Ahrens, who was born in Davenport, Wash., died Thursday. She was a longtime Spokane resident. She grew up on the family farm near Reardan, Wash., and graduated from Reardan High School.
In 1941 she married Wayne Ahrens, and they made their home in Spokane.
Mrs. Ahrens sold Avon products for more than 20 years. She was a former member of Lloyd Memorial Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She also was a member of the Sunshine Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Ahrens of Reardan and Donald Ahrens of Mantesa, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
