Harold "Bill" Gallinger

Harold Leslie "Bill" Gallinger of Cornwall, formerly of Ingleside, passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Tues., May 12, 2009. He was 84.
He was the beloved husband of Ramona (nee Kinnear) and the loved father of Michael (Bettyann) of Cornwall and Sharon Delaney of Red Deer, Alta. He was the dear brother of John (Verla) of Ingleside, Eleanor Zeran (Bert) of Finch, and Ralph (Rita) of Grand Prairie, Alta. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Willis and Jenna (nee Dunbar), one brother Donald and one sister Hazel Rutley (Wilburt) of Cornwall.
Visitation was held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel and Reception Centre in Ingleside on Fri., May 15. A service in celebration of Bill's life was held in Trinity United Church in Ingleside on Sat., May 16 with Rev. Gary Stokes officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Ingleside. The pallbearers were George Duprau, Barry Winters, Sam Gallinger, Mervin Zummach, Scot Proser, and Colin Kinnear.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
