Anne arrived in the valley married to her first husband Daniel Evans who died in a mine accident in 1860. Anne had three daughters, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, and Hannah. Soon afterward she married Alderman David Williams and settled in Lackwanna County and later Pittston. The union had 7 children, David, William, Tallie, Anuerin, Myvanney, Ellen and Gomer.

The wife of Alderman D.M. Williams of Scranton, who died Saturday last was buried Tuesday afternoon. She was well known to many Pittstonians having resided a number of years on Parsonage Street.
