Clara C. Dotson was born at Springside,
Kansas on May 29, 1874 and spent her
girlhood days there. On November 22,
1893 she was married to C.B. Landrum
who preceded her in death. To this
union was born Floyd B. Landrum, Mrs.
J.L. Cherry, Kansas City, Missouri and
Mrs. C.T. Talbot, Lawrence, Kansas.

On August 27, 1917 she was married to
Wade Lucas, of Frankfort, Kansas.

She was baptized in the Springside,
M.E. Church as a young girl.

Besides her husband and three children
she leaves her parents Mr. and Mrs.
Floyd Dotson, Frankfort, Kansas; three
sisters, Mrs. Walter E. Lane, Kansas
City, Missouri, Mrs. Roy Saar, Topeka,
Kansas, Mrs. Emma Mills, Frankfort,
Kansas; four grandchildren and three
step-sons.

Mrs. Wade Lucas passed away at 10:00
a.m. on Thursday morning August 15,
1929 at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
J.L. Cherry, Kansas City, Missouri.

She was laid to rest in the Irving
Cemetery, Irving, Kansas with the
Reverend J.C. Dussair conducting funeral
services at the M.E. Church in Irving.
