Jessie M. Savage died on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on September 17, 1915, the daughter of Jess and Queen Victoria (Lawson) Pettis. Jessie and Harvey Ray Savage, Sr. were married August 22, 1936.

Jessie was raised in Longwood along with 7 sisters and 4 brothers. She worked as a photographic film processor at Inter State Studio for 44 years.

Jessie was devoted to her family and enjoyed the wonderful times they spent together.

Jessie is survived by 2 sons, Harvey Savage and his wife Nancy Sue of Southern Illinios and Allen Savage of Sedalia and her daughter, Sandra S. Eye of Sedalia.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 daughters, Gloria Jean Richards and Patricia Joan Van Holten; her son, William Eugene Savage; 7 sisters and 4 brothers.

Jessie's body will be cremated.
