WILL RUWE, 77, DIES OF HEART ATTACK; FOUND BY WIFE AT HIS HOME EARLY SUNDAY

F. William Ruwe, well known and respected farmer of the Telbasta area west of Blair, died at this home some time early Sunday morning. He was found by his wife who had gone to call him. Mr. Ruwe was 77 years of age.

He had been in failing health for several months, but had been able to carry on his work in the usual manner. He had apparently attempted to rise when the attack came Sunday, having started to dress.

Mr. Ruwe was born at Fontanelle, May 23, 1881 and grew up in the Fontanelle and Telbasta areas. He was married in 1919 to Miss Augusta Fischer and they began farming in the Johnson school district just east of Telbasta. They lived on this farm all of their married life, which had been 39 years at the time of his death. The couple had no children.

Mr. Ruwe was considered a good farmer and a kindly neighbor and had many friends and throughout his neighborhood.

He is survived by his wife Augusta, and two sisters. They are Mrs. Rose Obert, of Tekamah, and Mrs. Amanda Kubie, of Blair, another sister, Mrs. Leslie McKay, of Albion, preceded him in death.

Brothers of the deceased man are Lawrence Ruwe, of Wayne and Otto Ruwe, of Blair. A brother, Ferdinand, of Arlington, died several years ago.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon.
