Dad was what we all called him. What I remember is a Godly man, who watched PTL club, loved his church and family. As a child I would sit in his lap on the screened in front porch, he would hum Amazing Grace and wiggle his chin while I held on to it. He passed away when I was 11, so I dont have many memories but I am told I have alot of his ways. I do remember the day he passed away, we got home from school and went to Gadsden, as the adults murmured to each other I peered into the bedroom where Dad always sat and watched TV, he wasn't there but there was a large wet spot, some blood and small bits of paper about, I later realized this was where the paramedics had worked on him and as a Nurse now I surmise he passed away from Pulmonary Edema.
