He is survived by his son, Hal L. Newman, Jr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Doug Clower, and Evelyn and Bob Greenlee. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Chris Greenlee and his wife, Kathy, Lisa Clower, James Clower, and Erin Greenlee; one great-grandson, Austin Greenlee; and two brothers, Russell Newman and Robert Newman and their families.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at McCarty's Evergreen Chapel, funeral service to follow, with Rev. Tom Ballard officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Eastview Memorial Gardens where the family will meet. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Chris Greenlee and James Clower.
