William D. "Bill" Warner, 58, of Wellington, passed away at 7:11 P.M. Tuesday October 8, 2013 at his home in Wellington.
He was born August 20, 1955 in Danville, the son of Wilbur and Viola Mae Robertson Warner. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty, Edith and RuthAnn and two brothers, Paul and Herschel Lee. He married Karen Pate on September 17, 1977 at the Chestnut Street Church of Christ in Hoopeston. She survives.
He is also survived by one daughter, Jamie (Larry) Pruitt; one son, Jarrod (Julie) Warner; one sister, Joanne Catron; six brothers, Bud Warner, Jerry Warner, Arthur "Art" (Jeanne) Warner, Steve (Susan) Warner, Irvin Warne and Mike (Kim) Warner; four grandchildren, Dylan, Kaileigh, Macy and Cale and many nieces and nephews.
He worked at American Can in Hoopeston and later for RBT Trucking. He later became a self-made business owner, owning several different businesses including Wilkar Trucking, Cissna Park Bowl and Warner Lawn Service.
