Sarah S., wife of William H. Budlong, died at her home in Steuben yesterday morning after an illness of fifteen months. Dropsy coupled with heart failure was the cause.
Mrs. Budlong was born in Steuben 62 years ago, the daughter of Benjamin Eychaner and had passed her entire life in that place.
She was married to William H. Budlong in Febuary 1863.
Mrs. Budlong was a lady of many estimable qualities and all those who knew her will mourn her death.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Erwin of Jewel City, KS; William A. and Casper of Utica.
Her funeral will be held from her home tomorrow. Utica Observer Dispatch, Wednesday, May 27, 1903
