MRS. DELILAH ASHBY
Edina, Mo., Jan. 24. — Mrs Delilah Ashby, 85, of Edina, died Monday (Jan. 22, 1968) at 9:25 p. m. in Gibson Hospital where she had been a patient since Jan. 7.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Hudson-Rimer funeral chapel with the Rev. Carl Hickman officiating. Burial will be in the Linville cemetery.
Mrs. Ashby was born Nov. 3, 1882, in Knox County, a daughter of Josiah and Mariah S. Evertson Roush. She was a member of the Christian church. She was married to Emory T. Ashby at Edina, March 24, 1903. He died Aug. 18, 1963.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Bert of Clayton, N. M.; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Schofield of Mclntire, la., Mr. and Mrs. Ella Welcher, Mrs. Vinna Schofield and Mrs. Mary Lewis, all of Edina; a brother, Miles Roush of Lewistown, and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
