Beatrice Emma Allen Keys, 94, passed away at NHC of Anderson on October 6, 2013. She had a great faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and is now in Heaven with Him. She was an inspiration to her friends, family, and especially her beloved nieces and nephews. She was known as "Aunt Bea" by family.
Born in Greenville County, SC on July 5, 1919, she was a daughter of late Luther Vernon Allen, Sr. and Martha Davis Allen and a step-mother, Alice Christopher Allen, who raised her from three years old.

She was predeceased by parents, husband, Frank D. Keys, and several brothers and sisters. The last member of her immediate family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.Beatrice graduated from Ellen Woodside High School in 1939, and worked for many years at Carolina Blouse Company and retired there.A member of Washington Baptist Church in the Eastview Community since her teens, she was a devoted Christian.

Beatrice and Frank D. Keys' home address was 45 Square Street in Pelzer, SC.Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.

The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Revs. Stan Candler and James Ellenburg officiating. Interment will follow at the New Pine Lawn Cemetery at Pelzer, SC.
