Among his books are "Lights and Shadows of Real Life", "Tales for Rich and Poor", "Library for the Household", "Steps to Heaven", "The Good Time Coming and "Ten Nights in a Bar-Room", a tale of temperance that had became his most acclaimed and widely read work.
