Funeral services for Patricia Hair Barlet will be held five p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hair Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. The Revs. Bert Baynham and Charles Morris will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216. Mrs. Barlet passed away Friday, October 4, 2013.
Born in Elko, SC she was a daughter of the late Theodore Bryant Hair and Meta Lucille Birt Hair. She was a homemaker, a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was married to the late Leroy S. Barlet.
Survivors include daughters, Cindi Barlet (Junior Wilson), Karen Barlet (Cliff Broadway) and Penny B. Salazar; sons, Terry (Lisa) Barlet and Thomas (Megan) Barlet; grandchildren, Holly Ellis, Julie Maxwell, Joshua Barlet, Jessica Barlet, Anna, Lee, Amelia Barlet, Aimeé, Jonathan, and Jeremy Salazar, Taylor, Tyler and Trystan Smith; 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Nell (Gene) Nix and Barbara (Marion) Riley; brother, Billy B. Hair and a number of nieces and nephews.
