Shirley L.. "IDE" Johnson, 78, passed away October 1, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 15, 1935 to the late George C. and Willa Lea (Brown) Anderson in Louisville.
Shirley was a member of LaGrange Presbyterian Church and an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.
She is preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband, William Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Doug Johnson; daughter-in-law, Pam Johnson; grandson, Richard Johnson; granddaughter, Becky Johnson; two great-granddaughters, Hope Elizabeth and Isabella Faith Johnson; and her faithful companion that never left her side, Annie.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
