Oscar Koch, 82, of 724 N. West, died at 1:40 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital.
Born in Lima Sept. 6, 1883, he was the son of Henry and Mary Koch.
His wife, Louise, survives.
Mr. Koch was a retired car inspector for the B&O Railroad.
He was affiliated with the First United Church of Christ, the Borrowed Time Club, B&O Veterans Assoc., and Men's Brotherhood of the church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert Abderhalden of Media, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Addie Heitzman, 833 Bellefontaine; several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A son, Dr. Calvin Koch died in 1946.
Services will be 11 p.m. Saturday in Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Sons - Laman Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Vitz will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.
