Gust Anderson was born at Nydala, Sweden, April 13, 1877, and died at the Sterling Public Hospital Sept. 3, 1933, aged 56 years, 4 months, and 20 days.
Mr. Anderson came to Tampico in June, 1891, and with the exception of nine years during which he resided in Chicago, has been a resident of this vicinity since that time. He was married February 24, 1900, to Miss Mathilda M. Danelson, and to their union two children, Mrs. Otto Nygaard of Chicago, and Esther, who lived with her parents, were born.
The deceased is survived by his wife, the two daughters, and two brothers, Frank and Henry Anderson, both of whom live in Prophetstown township. Five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
The funeral will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon from the Methodist Church at two o'clock. The services will be conducted by A.E. Simester an vocal music will be furnished by John & Carl Swanson, accompanied by Miss Arvilla Swanson.
The Pallbearers are Guy Sibley, Carl A. Johnson, Anton Ross, Orville Ackerman, Alfred McCaslin, and William Oetzel. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery.
