Blair Democrat 20 Nov 1913

Pauline Price, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Price, died suddenly Nov. 15th, at Lake Sanitarium Omaha, of typhoid fever. Her illness was of three weeks’ duration and she had been taken to the sanitarium ten days before her death in order that she might have the benefit of close medical attendance. Her funeral was held from the Methodist church Monday afternoon, the High school being dismissed in order that her classmates, with whom she was very popular, might attend. The deceased was seventeen years old. Her death brings sorrow to a mother and father and one sister in her immediate family as well as many friends who have known her and loved her in her childhood and girlhood.

Floral tributes from a host of friends of Pauline attested the high regard in which she was held and perhaps never in the history of Blair were flowers so profuse as at her funeral.
