John F. Troll was the husband of Karen J. (Plante) Troll. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Rita (Sullivan) Troll. John was an Emergency Services Dispatcher for the Scituate Police Department for the past 20 yrs. He was also a part time dispatcher from 1988-2007 at the Groton Emergency Communications Center where he was awarded "Telecommunicator of the Year" in 2006. John served on the North Quidnessett Station 4 Vol. Fire Dept. He was a member of the Special Signal Assoc. of RI and a founding member of the Providence Citywide Fire Network. He was the father of Patrick J. Troll at home in Coventry; brother of Nancy E. Troll of North Kingstown and Janice M. Smith of Noank, CT.
