Darnell Fluker, 40, of Elyria, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. Darnell was born July 7, 1972 in Elyria. He graduated from Elyria High School in 1992 and attended Akron University.
He was employed as a distributor for 2nd Chance Bands LLC and formerly worked in the Murray Ridge School System. He enjoyed music and was aspiring to be a stand up Comedian.
Darnell will be sadly missed by his wife, Shanise Dickerson-Fluker; his children, Jacqueline Denson and Avery Fluker; his paternal grandmother, Josephine Hill; grandson, Braelyn C. Whitfield; sister, Rosalyn Fluker; and two brothers, Michael (Honesty) Bodiford and Alexander (Marsha) Bodiford; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robin Palmer; mother, Gertude Fluker; maternal grandparents; and his aunt, Geraldine Grantham.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. at Call Out Church of the Almighty God, 7809 West River Road, Elyria, where Bishop Willie Cooper, Pastor, will officiate services.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
