Son of Benjamin Franklin Coker and Martha J. Wright. He spent his life farming and never married.

Funeral services for W. H. Coker, retired farmer, who died at his home Sunday afternoon, after an illness of several weeks were held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Smart, Monday morning. Rev. E. M. Wisdom officiated, and interment was in the Bartlett cemetery.
Pallbearers were Morgan Seale, A. F. Kuehn, Walter Braun, P. P. Brown, Curtis Turner, Fred Montgomery and Joe Pyeatt.
Mr. Coker was born in Mississippi, November 3, 1860, and came to Texas when a young man. He settled in Bell county, and has made his home in this immediate section for 50 years.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Tom Smart; and one brother, R. L. Coker of Arcadia. Out-of-town relatives here to attend the funeral were Mrs. George Sweat of Temple, and Mr. and Mrs. T. Outlow of Austin.
