She married Samuel Jackson Hawkins on 2 Feb, 1871 in Mississippi County, Mo. They had six children.

Mrs. S J Hawkins died at their home in Exeter, Saturday, after a protracted sickness. Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, 2 sons &a daughter.
She had been a member of the Methodist Church for many years.
Services were held at Exeter w/interment there, conducted by Horine Undertaking Co.
