Lucette Gulick Mounts, 85, of Evansville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Deaconess Charlier Hospice. She was born October 19, 1929, in Damlevieres, France and was one of 11 children born to the late Georges and Jeanne (Lambolez) Schleret.
She worked for over 30 years at Shane Uniform as a seamstress and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and sewing things for her family. She loved animals and always had a pet. Lucette was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and had recently attended Westwood General Baptist Church where she helped in the nursery. The center of her life was her family.
Lucette was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Mounts; daughter, Lillian Durham; and son, Jeff Mounts.
She is survived by her sons, Andy, Richard (Naomi) and Robert Gulick; daughters, Evelyn Wilkerson, Irene (Paul) Muensterman, Alice (John) Timmerman and Jennifer (Mark) Opperman; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin, with private entombment held on Tuesday in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
