Mary Ann "Polly" Jenkins Matherlee, was the daughter of Sarah Wood, (1795-1837), and Joel Jenkins, (1774-1863).

She married John Woodford Matherlee on May 1 1845 in Butler County, KY.

Nancy J "Sis" Matherlee, (1847-?) married John P Ferrell, (1842-
Mary Susan Matherlee, (1852-1934) married Richard Hansey Redfearn) on 12 Nov 1872.

Jeremiah "Jerry" Matherlee, (1854-1935) married first, Lina Carolyn "Carrie" Welborn, (1855-1888) on 14 Dec 1876 and second, Amanthis "Mant" B. Southerland, (1866-1939) on 21 Feb 1886.

Frances "Fan" Matherlee (1857-1941), married John B Mayes, (1856-aft 1930) on 5 Nov 1882.

Daniel Richmond Matherlee married first, Celia Jane Sumner, (1863-1897) on 2 May 1881. He then married Artie "Martie" Goodman Shelton on 18 Apr 1898.

Iduma "Ida" Matherlee, (1868-1958) married Samuel J. Fleming, (1864-1931) on 19 Dec 1886.
