Lived in Lorain 25 Years; Funeral Arrangements Pending
Henry McDermott, 80, died this morning in his home, 1411 Washington-av. McDermott came to Lorain 25 years ago with his family from Brownhelm, where he had resided for 35 years. he was employed by the city as foreman in charge of street men, but has been retired for the past five years. Surviving him are six children, Mrs. F. E. Seward, Elyria; Mrs. D. J. Foy, Henry and Michael, Toledo; Katherine and Thomas, this city. He also leaves two brothers, John and Peter, Ireland, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Riley, Ireland; Mrs. Delia Dormody, Cleveland. Funeral plans under the direction of Reichlin, Reidy & Scanlan are pending.
