COLLIER, William Hanford - 63, 13 Palmer St, Truro, died Friday in Colchester Hospital, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Graham and Ella (McCully) Collier. He was an adherent of Brunswick Street United Church and a retired employee of CNR. He was one of the founding members of Truro's Little League Baseball Association and a life member of Main Brace Naval Association. He is survived by his wife, the former Vera Harrison; a daughter, Patricia (Mrs Joseph Casey), Truro; a step-daughter, Betty (Mrs Blair Johnson), Bible Hill; a son, George, Lower Sackville; a stepson, Robert Harrison, Halifax; 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Alma MacKay; a son, Paul; a grandchild. The body is in Mattatall Funeral Home where visiting is 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today and where funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev Paul Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Robie Street Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to any charity.
