Ethel Graskamp Nelson
FOUNTAIN, Minn. - Ethel Graskamp Nelson, 92, formerly of Fountain, died Friday evening (Dec. 23, 1983) at the Watkins Home, Winona, where she was a resident the last 9 1/2 years.
She was born May 17, 1891, in Minnesota City. She attended schools in Watson Creek, Wykoff and the Southern Minnesota Normal College, Austin. She taught rural school at Watson Creek.
She married Edward D. Graskamp on Dec. 24, 1913; he died October 1961. She then married Harold Nelson on Sept. 11, 1969; he died October 1973.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Graskamp, Winona; and Loren Graskamp, Fountain; and six grandchildren.
Five sisters and one brother was died.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Fountain, the Rev. Deanna Woodward officiating. Spring burial will be in Chatfield Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m.-noon Tuesday at Drury-Riley Funeral Home, Fountain, and from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the service at the church.
