Shannon M. Nebitt, 28, of Blair, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, after a car accident on Highway 75 in Douglas County.

The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at First Baptist Church in Blair.

Shannon Marie O'Donnell was born April 11, 1982, in Blair. She attended Blair High School, graduating with the Class of 2000. After graduation, she attended Iowa Western Community College on a music scholarship.

In 2002, she married; they welcomed their daughter in 2006.

She enjoyed working side-by-side with her mother and friends as an office assistant at Dr. Herbert C. Coulter's office in Blair. Her special gift to all was her beautiful voice, which she shared at funerals, weddings and get-togethers.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all that were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, mother and stepfather, father and stepmother, brothers, sisters and brother-in-law, grandparents, great-grandparents, a nephew and a niece.
