FANNIE NEARHOOD RITES MARCH 16TH

Fannie Nearhood, who for years has resided south of Blair, died on March 12, 1949 at the home of her son, John, of Minneapolis, Minn., where she was spending the winter. She was born March 16, 1870 in Clinton, Penn., and was buried on her 79th birthday.

She was married to John Nearhood Jan. 30, 1887. For a time they lived in Lincoln County, Kan., and later moved to this county where they continued to live until his death years ago and her recent death.

She is survived by two sons, Ray of Omaha and John of Minneapolis, also one granddaughter and one great granddaughter and one brother, Lawrence E. Allison of Corydon, Iowa.

Burial was made Wednesday afternoon from the Campbell mortuary.
