Royce Ammons Jensen, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 21, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 30, 1950, in Brigham City, UT, to Kent Reynolds Jensen and Jo Doris Ammons Jensen. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Box Elder High School. He also attended Weber State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business.

On January 21, 1972, he married Connie Sue Miller in Ogden, Utah. He worked in management for Marriott as well as supervising the Laundry Services for various hospitals and hotels. Royce and Connie made their home in Rexburg for 9 years before moving to Idaho Falls in 2000.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings including Ward Clerk, Genealogy Specialist in the Ward and Stake, Sunday School Teacher, and Primary Teacher. He enjoyed doing family history, working with c0mputers and websites, reading Science Fiction, and especially loved spending time with his family.

Royce is survived by
wife, Connie Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID;
daughter, Shana Rae Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID,
son, Nathan Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID,
brother, John B. Jensen of CO,
sister, Jolene (Robert) Moulton of WY,
sister, Jeri McFarland of UT,
sister, Kaylene (Scott) Deakins of UT .

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Gertrude Jensen; and a sister-in-law, Ramona Jensen.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2013, at Idaho Falls LDS Woodruff 1st Ward, 1660 12th Street, with Bishop Kolby Cazier officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and on Friday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.

Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
