Death of F. Long - Frank Long, Editor of Door County Advocate Passed Away at His Home in Sturgeon Bay Friday
Born in the village of Entrup, Province of Westphalia, Prussia on December 31, 1847.
Came to America with his parents in 1853.
First settled at Fort Wayne, Indiana and his mother and sister, Theressa, died there.
His father remarried.
About 1856 his father moved the family west to Green Bay.
Frank married Agnes M. Damkoehler on October 20, 1869, in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Surviving children: Mrs. Samuel Groenfeldt, Mrs. Adolph Woerfel, Frank E. Long, Dudley L. Long, Clarence E. Long and Ernest W. Long
